Second American journalist reportedly beheaded by terrorists

Video has surfaced reportedly showing a second American journalist being beheaded by terrorists (see ISIS video purports to show beheading of American journalist by reporter Kristina Wong at The Hill).

Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has taken credit for the murder of 31-year-old freelance journalist Steven Joel Sotloff.

After beheading American journalist James Foley, the mother of Sotloff publicly asked that her son be spared:

“I want what every mother wants: to live to see her children’s children. I plead with you to grant me this,” she said.

President Barack Obama went on record last week as saying we “don’t have a strategy” to deal with ISIS.
