Broken water pipe closes Staunton restaurants on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day business was not to be for some very popular Staunton restaurants after a water pipe broke Thanksgiving morning (see Pipeline break nixes holiday business).

Rowe’s, Cracker Barrel, Texas Steakhouse, and Hometown Grill (formerly Shoney’s) had all planned to be open to serve Thanksgiving meals but were forced to turn away patrons because of the water issue. By late Thursday afternoon the source of the break had not been found.
