America’s oldest show cave invites all to experience the holidays in a special way by caroling in Grand Caverns! This natural national landmark will offer the unique opportunity to celebrate the season with music in the cavern on Saturday, December 6, from 6-8:00 p.m. Tours leave every 15 minutes and last approximately 30 minutes each.
The Grottoes Ruritan Club hosts this fun night of fellowship and caroling with proceeds benefiting the South River Boys & Girls Club, and the Ruritan scholarship fund.
The Gift Shop in the stone lodge offers unique gifts for holiday giving.
Candlelight tours and musical performances by Fred Holbrook, Rhythm Road, Shekinah, and Peggy Counts will be located in Solomon’s Temple, The Chapel, and Ballroom.
Admission is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free with the donation of new arts and crafts supplies, markers, construction paper, or games. Children may also take a handmade ornament to decorate the tree for a free pass to visit the caverns at another time.
