Chesterfield GOP snags THE DONALD for annual fundraising dinner

Donald Trump 16By Lynn R. Mitchell

The tease came from Chesterfield County Republican Committee Chairman Donald Williams on Facebook Friday evening :

… so … its now official….

The 2015 CCRC Lincoln Reagan Dinner will be April 24th …….. with our special guest speaker…….(insert drum roll here)

Donald Trump.

That’s right …….THAT Donald Trump.

More details to come….but you won’t want to miss this one. It will be one of the most entertaining evenings in recent Richmond history.

So I emailed Donald and asked, “THE Donald? Not an impersonator?”

Yep, it’s THAT Donald. The real deal. Mr. Apprentice himself. Owner of Virginia’s Trump Vineyards. Gazillionaire. Golfer and golf course owner. Businessman, investor, author. Chairman and president of The Trump Organization. Founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts.

And flamboyant politician want-to-be.

I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t mind spending a couple of hours in the same room with someone who owns a $71 million mansion (see Look inside Donald Trump’s old $71 million mansion and dream your dream), not to mention all his other properties (check out his Real Estate Portfolio).

Who knows what he will talk about to a room full of Republicans that night.

I hear that Madelaine Spangler, Vice Chair for Projects, was the one who was able to snag Mr. Trump so congratulations to her on fulfilling her duties in a big way.

I was at last year’s dinner and it was a fun event with Chesterfield GOP friends, old and new, so this definitely will prove to be an entertaining evening. Stay tuned as more details become available….
