Radio ad: ‘Hello … I’m Emmett Hanger’

Emmett Hanger 9

Have you heard Senator Emmett Hanger‘s radio ad playing on local stations (play radio ad). It’s a message from him to you — his neighbors, friends, folks in the community — as we head into the June 9 Primary. Take a listen. Here’s what he says:

Hi, this is Emmett Hanger. With the Primary coming up, I thought I’d tell you a few things about my record so you know exactly where I stand. Not much has changed really. I still support keeping your taxes low. I opposed both Governor Kaine’s and Governor McDonnell’s plans to raise taxes. And this year I helped block Governor McAuliffe’s plan to raise fees by millions.

I still support holding down government spending too. Just this year I helped cut $1 billion in unnecessary spending and stopped the Governor from adding millions in new debt. I still work to attract new jobs by getting government out of the way of free markets so that Virginia remains a magnet for businesses looking to grow.

And of course, I still fight to protect your liberty and your constitutional rights—every one of them.

Nothing’s changed.

I’m Emmett Hanger and I’m still standing up for the conservative values you and I share. And that’s what I’ll keep doing with your vote on Tuesday, June 9.

Paid for by Hanger Campaign Committee.

The Republican Primary is June 9 and every vote counts. All polling places will be open 6am-70m for voters. Absentee voting is available as well as in-person absentee voting.

If you would like a yard sign, 4’x4′ sign, or a 4’x8′ sign, or to volunteer, give us a call at Emmett Hanger headquarters: 540.280-4450. Or stop by and pick up signs and bumper stickers. We’re located at 700 Richmond Road at the corner of Statler Boulevard in Staunton. Sometimes we are out delivering signs so feel free to give us a call to see if someone is there.
