Thank you, Senator Emmett Hanger, for a positive campaign that never attacked your opponents but instead informed voters what you were all about. It was an honor to work with you.

Lynn,
Thank you for all of your incredible work during the course of the campaign. You really stepped up and your contribution was amazing. Dad was extremely fortunate to have you on his side. The work you put into your BLOG and everything you did with the signs was terrific. I was only at Clocktower for a short time last night and didn’t get a chance to speak with you, but I wanted to take a moment today and extend my gratitude.

Thanks, Scott — I appreciate that. Winning was a team effort but thanks for the kind words. I love campaigning so it gave me the opportunity to once again help a candidate race to the finish line … and win. Your dad was remarkable and was all over the District with constituents. I hope those who were against him will give him a chance as he heads back to Richmond to once again tackle the issues that are important to Virginians. ~Lynn Mitchell
