To celebrate daughter Katy’s birthday while out to dinner last weekend, what better way to up the sugar intake than with an assortment of fine European pastries, thanks to Giancarlo’s Fine European Pastries in Staunton?
This rich chocolate layered Chocolate Coumbian Tart had a slight coffee taste to blend with the various chocolate flavors.

Tart (top), almond petit four (white squares), bourbon balls (round chocolate), and chocolate pecan tart.
And a lovely time was had by all!
