Fall vegetable garden still has tomatoes, peppers

2After almost two weeks of rain, we checked out the garden today to see what had survived the weather. Today’s deep blue skies and bright sunshine are a contrast the rain and fog that had become the norm for the end of September and beginning of October.

5We still have plenty of tomatoes and cherry tomatoes on the vine waiting for sun and warm temps so they can ripen.

1Four varieties of peppers are still producing.

6Sunflowers down! These fellas didn’t make it in the heavy rains and wind.

7More gourds for fall decor …

8… while the Aspen tree stands bare.
