Rebecca Welch: ‘Why this Millennial is supporting Jeb Bush’

I wanted to express why I am supporting Jeb Bush for president. I know what you are thinking: another Bush, right? But you would be wrong. I was like everyone else; I figured Bush fatigue would set in with both his father and brother having held the office before him.

But the more I looked into his record, the more I realized that he is the best man for the job. This goes beyond image or ignorant statements like “same old, same old”

In our country, we judge people by their accomplishments, not by their family name. Jeb has proven he can lead, and that’s exactly what this country needs. We need a leader.

He wants to work to bring this country together regardless of party affiliation. Florida is a testament to his legacy.

At the end of the day we need someone who can unite this country and keep us safe. In my opinion, only Jeb qualifies. He’s quiet and introspective; we all know that still waters run deep.

He believes this is the greatest time to be alive. I agree. Do you?
