AOL’s Steve Case offers Virginia wine at his ‘Early Mountain Vineyards’

You’ve got mail? No, you’ve got wine in the rolling hills of Virginia north of Charlottesville at Early Mountain Vineyards tucked away in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Owned by America Online (AOL) internet CEO Steve Case and his wife Jean who purchased the bankrupt Sweely Estate winery and undertook extensive renovations, the venue offers an upscale winery for tastings of Pinot Gris, Viognier, Merlot, Chardonnay, and rosé as well as other offerings. A cozy and romantic guest house is on the property, and they are also equipped for weddings and special events in a room with large windows overlooking the scenic Blue Ridge countryside.

AOL encounters security breach, alerts users to change passwords

AOL notified users today that it had encountered a security breach and advised consumers how to take precautions in the latest of a recent series of hacking incidents. Though AOL  is no longer my primary email address, I keep it in reserve so received the following email Wednesday afternoon with information and advice. I just changed my password two weeks ago because of the Heartbleed virus. Today AOL is advising it be changed again. Perhaps the seriousness of this particular hacking is evident by the fact that they sent the email, something I cannot ever remember happening in the past:
