I wanted to express why I am supporting Jeb Bush for president. I know what you are thinking: another Bush, right? But you would be wrong. I was like everyone else; I figured Bush fatigue would set in with both his father and brother having held the office before him.

But the more I looked into his record, the more I realized that he is the best man for the job. This goes beyond image or ignorant statements like “same old, same old”

In our country, we judge people by their accomplishments, not by their family name. Jeb has proven he can lead, and that’s exactly what this country needs. We need a leader.

Millennials for Jeb PAC formed, looking for campus reps

Did you know the Millennial generation, made up of those age 18-33 — many who have Boomer parents — makes up nearly a quarter of the voting age in the country? Despite the potential to be a real political force, only 21 percent of Millennials cast a ballot in the 2014 election. College student Lucas Agnew believes that shows that the current political system does not appeal to Millennials’ more moderate nature, and he wants to do something about it.

Agnew,  who supports Jeb Bush, has launched the Millennials for Jeb PAC including a Millennials for Jeb website and Facebook page, and has hit the ground running.
