The Homestead’s magical holiday lights

The Grand Hall is majestic and comforting, all at the same time … the familiar surroundings are even more beautiful at Christmas.

On a mild December evening during an unusual warm spell, the front porch was a comfortable place to sit and visit while overlooking the holiday lights.

A little blurry but the idea is there … the wonder of Christmas in Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains.
